Deployment options
Buildiary is a cloud service run by SMH Global. There is nothing to install on a server: you get your own workspace at its own address.
Cloud workspace
Your workspace has its own address, yourname.buildiary.app, on our servers on AWS in Mumbai. We run the updates and the backups.
Phones and computers
Buildiary runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. Add it to the home screen to open it like an app.
Android app
Site staff can also use the Buildiary app for Android phones.
Tablet at the gate
Any tablet with a camera can run gate mode for attendance.

Six steps from sign-up to a working site.

Start your trial
Open the sign-up page, choose Owner or Builder, name your workspace and set your password.

Sign in
Sign in at your workspace's address. If you forget it, the sign-in page finds your workspace from your email.

Add your people
Add the people who sign in and their roles; add the workers and print their site cards.

Set your rules
In Settings, choose which steps need a photo or proof.

Put a tablet at the gate
Open gate mode on a tablet so that workers scan their cards in and out.

Phones for site staff
Site staff open the workspace address in the phone's browser and add it to the home screen, or install the Android app.
